Typically, for most salt chlorine generators that have a salt cell, it can lasts from 3 to 5 years. We recommend checking with the manufacturer to double check the life expectancy. Most salt chlorine systems also come with a control panel or a self regulating system that will tell you if the cell already needs to be cleaned or replaced.
